Pricing and Services

 

 

We run 1H, 13C, 19F, 31P spectra or that of any magnetic nuclide.  We also run 1D techniques such as DEPT, T-1 measurements and selective COSY.  We also can provide 2D spectra. The most common are COSY variants, NOESY, HETCOR, COLOC.  We suggest using HMQC and HMBC instead of the later two.   We also make quantitive determinations,  requiring the weighing of samples and primary standards, running spectra, integrating and calculating results.  We also provide consulting services to help clients interpret spectra and make decisions on appropriate methodology.

 

 

 

$125 /hr  for machine time,

$150 / hr for consulting time,

$250  for an overnight run.

$50 for a routine 1H spectrum,

$125 for a routine 13C with a DEPT

 

We are happy to help you with interpretations or analysis issues over the telephone or e-mail and do not charge consulting fees for short conversations.

Our official price schedule is $125/hr for machine time, $150/hr for consulting and $250 for an overnight run.

This translates to $50 for a routine 1H spectrum,  $150 for a routine 13C including DEPT. It isn’t cost effective to run 13C spectra much longer than an hour.   Long term 13C runs and most 2D runs will fall under the overnight category.   We don’t charge for supplies with the exception of expensive NMR solvents, e.g. DMF-d7, THF-d8.

 

We define consulting as lengthy discussions and/or interpretive work.   We don’t charge the consulting rate for short telephone conversations, or interpretations requiring only a few minutes.
